COMPANY PROFILE

Our business model is based upon a "moving target" theory for the simple reason that debtors have become immune over time to standard collection agency approaches and we need to adjust accordingly. Today’s debtors are savvy and very good at stalling or avoiding payment for a variety of increasingly complex reasons. In response, it makes sense to implement a more comprehensive approach to combat delinquencies.

When you submit an account to Stevens & Ricci, Inc. (SRI) for collection, it goes straight from our Claims Processing Center to General Counsel for immediate review. From there it goes either to our in-house attorney collector or a non-legal commercial collector depending on the evaluation.

Numbers don’t lie. This attorney-driven business model has resulted in almost three times the recoveries for our clients than the typical collection agency. Your cost? Much less than a typical collection agency. While our collection rates are similar, your cost is driven lower due to higher recoveries of your invoices, interest charges AND the collection fee.

Collection skills are not enough these days. You need legal tactics also – and you need them earlier in the process, not as a last resort.


CORPORATE OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to offer commercial debt recovery services with integrity, compassion, and above all superior results. Our primary focus is to quickly recover client receivables within 45 days or less. Our attorneys are more effective at collections than filing lawsuits. However, in the rare event this becomes the only remaining option, this “necessary evil” will again yield above average results. The reason has to do with post-judgment remedies. Our attorneys are asset-based and very skilled at locating attachable assets for cash conversion.

Founder Ben F. RicciIn April of 1998, experienced credit manager Ben Ricci left his steady job and started his own firm - Stevens & Ricci, Inc. The reason?
